New European market rules are increasingly affecting the operations of export-oriented companies. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this raises important questions: What does CBAM mean for your business? What obligations does it bring? And how can you prepare in time for new customer and market requirements?
Eda – Enterprise Development Agency has issued a public call for small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in an online CBAM training programme, organised as part of the DESET – Digitally Enabled Sustainable Energy Transition of Manufacturing SMEs project.
The training is intended for SME owners, managers and decision-makers, as well as employees working in export, sustainability, energy, environmental protection, production, finance, reporting, or other areas relevant to CBAM. Priority in the selection process will be given to export-oriented manufacturing SMEs and companies for which CBAM may have a direct or medium-term impact on their business operations.
Through the training, participants will gain essential and practically applicable knowledge of CBAM, including its implications for business operations, carbon dioxide emissions, reporting obligations, financial and operational impacts, as well as potential strategies for compliance and adaptation.
The training will be held during September 2026, and registered participants will be informed of the exact dates and times in a timely manner.
