Eda – Enterprise Development Agency has published, within the DESET project, a public call for expressions of interest for support to small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of energy transition, energy management, and digitalization.
The call is intended for private manufacturing companies operating in the wood processing, metalworking, food processing, and plastics industries that wish to improve their energy management and implement digital solutions in their business processes. At least ten companies are expected to receive support.
The support includes:
• implementation of the required software solutions, which will be fully financed through the grant, with a total of EUR 30,000 available for all beneficiaries;
• procurement of equipment required for the implementation of new energy management solutions, including sensors for measuring electricity consumption, temperature, humidity, and other relevant parameters.
For equipment procurement, the grant covers 54% of the total value, while the beneficiary provides the remaining 46%. A total of EUR 70,000 is available for this type of support and will be distributed among the selected beneficiaries.
In justified cases, support may also be provided for measures that enable the transition from passive energy consumption to active energy management, such as lighting control modules and variable frequency drives, provided that the proposed measures are feasible within the scope of the project.
Beneficiaries will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and within the limits of the available funding. Following the review of applications, Eda will organize on-site visits to initially eligible companies in order to align the proposed support with the project’s activities, indicators, and budget.
Applications may be submitted from the date of publication of the call until the available project funds have been exhausted. Interested companies are required to submit a completed application form, a declaration of eligibility, a current extract from the court register, and a notice of classification according to the official classification of business activities.
The documentation may be submitted electronically to eda@edabl.org, with visible signatures and stamps, or by registered mail or in person to the following address:
