On Friday, June 14, the premises of the Banja Luka Innovation Center hosted an event that brought together journalists and representatives of the business community – the EU4DigitalSME Media Brunch. This gathering provided an opportunity to present the work of the Digital Innovation Hub IDEMO, a key component of the “Innovation and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina / EU4DigitalSME” project.

During the event, it was emphasized that investing in digital technologies enables companies to become more agile, innovative, and better adapted to the challenges of the global market. Representatives of the business community and relevant institutions agreed that digitalization is crucial for improving economic processes within companies, which not only increases investment but also facilitates access to European and international markets.

The Digital Innovation Hub IDEMO is supported within the EU4DigitalSME project, co-funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ). The project aims to establish and support the development of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).

This event provided an opportunity for exchanging ideas and further supporting business innovation, which will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of domestic companies in the global market. With the support of EU4DigitalSME, IDEMO continues to serve as a key hub for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
