The Digital Innovation Hub IDEMO organized a workshop: “The Role of Digitalization in the Development of SMEs: Costs and Benefits” for companies in the wood processing and metal processing sectors. The workshop took place on May 30th, starting at 1:00 PM, at the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka, Branka Ćopića Street 6.

The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the process of digital transformation in SMEs and provide answers to the following questions:

Why is the introduction of digital tools necessary?

What are the advantages of introducing digital tools?

What if a company does not undergo the process of digital transformation?

What resources are needed to introduce digital tools?

How to identify digital solutions that need to be introduced for the company’s development?

Lecturer: Milorad Andžić, an expert in the development of digital tools for corporate management.

The workshop was organized within the framework of the EU4DigitalSME project, jointly funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ). The project is focused on establishing and supporting the development of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
