The Digital Innovation Hub IDEMO organized a workshop titled “Support for SMEs in Digitalization Processes.” The workshop was intended for representatives of institutions and organizations providing support to SMEs.
The workshop aimed to present and discuss various forms of support for SMEs in digitalization processes.
Goran Janković, a representative of the Agency for Enterprise Development Eda Banja Luka, critically reviewed the current state and mechanisms of support for SMEs in digitalization processes, considering the advantages and challenges in the implementation of specific support mechanisms. The workshop defined basic directions of activities and collaboration in providing support for SMEs in digitalization processes.
The workshop is part of the EU4DigitalSME project, jointly financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ). The project focuses on establishing and supporting the development of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
IDEMO is one of the supported digital innovation hubs, consisting of the Innovation Center Banja Luka, the Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Banja Luka, and the Agency for Enterprise Development EDA.
The goal of the IDEMO digital innovation hub is to provide expert support to small and medium-sized enterprises in the process of digital transformation.
