As part of the project “Digitally Sustainable Green Transition of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Republic of Srpska – DiGreenSMEs”, implemented through the EU Initiative for Private Sector Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with financial support from the European Union (EU) and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska (CCRS) has successfully integrated a new service entitled “Partner for the Green Transition”.
Six months after its launch, this service has become a key support mechanism for domestic enterprises, helping them respond to growing market demands through digital and green transformation. Under the slogan “Supporting Your Journey Towards Sustainable Business”, the service was designed to guide small and medium-sized enterprises towards more energy-efficient, environmentally sustainable and market-competitive business operations.
Practical Solutions to Complex Challenges
The green transition is no longer merely a regulatory requirement but an opportunity to improve business performance. The “Partner for the Green Transition” service provides practical answers to the question of where to begin the transformation process.
Through a systematic approach, SMEs are provided with:
- Expert advice and consultancy support in transitioning to green and digital business models
- Information on regulatory requirements and market expectations
- Access to financing opportunities and modern technological solutions
- Connections with trusted partners and suppliers
- Education and training for employees to support sustainable development
- Ongoing guidance on regulatory developments and market trends
Who Is the Service Intended For?
The service has been primarily designed for manufacturing and export-oriented companies, enterprises with high energy consumption, businesses operating within the supply chains of large corporations, companies planning to enter international markets, as well as technology and IT companies.
Strengthening the Domestic Economy for the Long Term
Through the implementation of this service, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska is establishing a new model of cooperation based on practical support and knowledge transfer. Digitalisation and green business processes are becoming essential tools for optimising costs and strengthening the resilience of the economy of the Republic of Srpska.
As a member of the DIH Idemo initiative, the Chamber is simultaneously strengthening the range of services offered through the Digital Innovation Hub. The DIH network further connects businesses, the ICT sector and innovation experts, creating a collaborative ecosystem that supports the successful implementation of digital and green transformation.
The new “Partner for the Green Transition” service represents an important step towards building a more competitive and sustainable economy, fully prepared to meet the investment and regulatory challenges of today’s business environment.
