Eda – Enterprise Development Agency has published, within the DESET project, a public call for expressions of interest to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the areas of energy transition, management and digitalisation.
The call is intended for private manufacturing companies from the wood-processing, metal, food-processing and plastics industries that wish to improve energy management and implement digital solutions in their business processes. It is planned that at least ten companies will receive support.
The support includes:
- implementation of the necessary software solutions, which will be fully financed through the grant, with a total of EUR 30,000 available for all beneficiaries;
- procurement of equipment required to implement new energy management solutions, including sensors for measuring electricity consumption, temperature, air humidity and other relevant parameters.
For equipment procurement, the grant covers 54% of the value, while the beneficiary provides the remaining 46%. The total amount available for this type of support is EUR 70,000 and will be allocated among the selected beneficiaries.
In justified cases, support may also be provided for measures that enable a transition from passive consumption to active energy management, such as lighting control modules and variable frequency drives, provided that the proposed measures are feasible within the scope of the project.
Beneficiaries will be selected according to the order in which applications are submitted, subject to mandatory fulfilment of the eligibility requirements and the availability of funds. Following the review of applications, Eda will organise field visits to initially eligible companies in order to align the proposed support with the project activities, indicators and budget.
Applications may be submitted from the date of publication of the call until the funds allocated under the project have been exhausted. Interested companies are required to submit a completed application form, a statement confirming fulfilment of the eligibility requirements, a current extract from the court register, and a classification notice according to the activity classification.

As beneficiaries will be selected according to the order in which applications are submitted, interested companies are advised to submit their applications as soon as possible.
