The digital innovation hub IDEMO held the workshop ‘Trends in industry with focus on automation and application of information technologies and artificial intelligence in today’s industry’ on February 19, 2024 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska.
The workshop was intended for companies interested in the digitization of production processes and institutions and organizations that provide support to SMEs.
The workshop was a unique opportunity for participants to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the industry, exchange experiences and create contacts with relevant participants in the field of digitization of production processes. With the presentation of concrete case studies by Prima ISG Gradiška, the participants got an insight into the application of the most modern technologies in practice.
Some of the key topics of the workshops were the historical development of the industry, trends in the industry, as well as the case study of Prima ISG Gradiška. After the workshop, participants had the opportunity to ask questions.
The workshop was led by prof. Ph.D Miloš Ljubojević and Velibor Đalić, MA – senior assistant.
IDEMO is one of the supported digital innovation hubs, which consists of the Innovation Center Banja Luka, the Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Banja Luka, and Eda – Development Agency. The goal of the digital innovation hub IDEMO is to provide small and medium-sized enterprises with professional support in the process of digital transformation.
The workshop was organized as part of the EU4DigitalSME project, jointly funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), aimed at establishing and supporting the development of digital innovation hubs (DIH) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
